Great so for your bbq fix. I had the sample plate with the green chili. Everything was good. Meat not slathered with sauce which i appreciated. The meat was good on its own, didn't need sauce. Iykyk!

The best BBQ I have ever had - even beats TX and KC bbq, no joke. Best ribs, brisket, etc. that my friend and I have ever tasted. Plus they are incredibly kind humans. So glad we stopped on our way through Salida

It’s hard to find good BBQ and lil Smokey’s definitely has some of Best BBQ we’ve come across in a long time. We stop by anytime we are passing through Salida. The owner is very friendly, a master at the grill and a great cook. The portions are enough to satisfy the cost. We love this place and have only positive things to say about the food, service, and atmosphere.

We are out-of-towners from Houston. We've eaten BBQ from all over Texas. Lil' Smokey's was pretty damn good. The right amount of smoky flavor. We had the sampler plate. Ribs good, brisket good, pork belly bites good, BBQ sauce good. We found the pulled pork a little on the dry side, but flavor was good.

Stopped in on our way to crested Butte from Texas, couldn't have been more impressed with the barbecue they absolutely put in a lot of work and a lot of thought into the whole menu everything was original all the sides had their own unique twist we got a sliced brisket sandwich and the brisket platter the brisket was moist flavorful and had a good crust on it, full of spices. The gentleman also brought our meal out to our car while it was raining couldn't have been happier with the spot we picked for dinner they do a great job here

Salida finally has BBQ! Delicious BBQ. Brisket, pork ribs, pork belly bites, mac and cheese, etc. - all delicious. Some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had and it’s right here in Salida. Thanks Lil Smokey’s. Very happy. Highly recommend.

Hard to see but easy to smell, wasnt hunger but the smell made me turn around! Very delicious but most importantly very we cooked brisket! The sandwich w/ BBQ Mac and Cheese and service all 5 stars

The high quality & wonderful taste of this BBQ actually surprised us. Our group was from all over the country but our BBQ reference is great Texas BBQ and Lil Smokey’s is among the best we’ve ever had. We ordered the large combination plates & enjoyed every one of the meats. This place is authentic & as good as it gets.
